San Diego Resists The Trump Regime

I happen to be in San Diego over the No Kings Day protest weekend, which brought thousands together in defiance of the Trump regime. When you watch the news and listen to Trump discussing "how the LA would have burned to the ground" had he not deployed the military, you begin to realize just how far gone the MAGA are from reality.

The protest was supposed to start later but the crowd gathered early in the morning.

Within an hour the protest would spill into the streets along the harbor, and police shut down the roads to allow the crowd to move through the city.

I was in LA when the National Guard and Marines deployed and there was no real threat of violence until Trump's show of force. Even when soldiers took to the streets, there was little vandalsim - mostly just pissed off people. Rightfully pissed off people! Maybe the MAGA have no problem with armed soldiers walking through their streets, and people disappearing without Miranda and due-process, but this is California, and we do!

Just like LA, San Diego was peaceful. No violence or arrests! The crowd was diverse, with people of all ages and backgrounds coming together to stand up for democracy. It was a powerful reminder that the GOP is a facist organization willing to lie to its members, who are all too willing to believe the propeganda!

Trump doesn't call up the National Guard in Red States. The MAGA are so stupid and gullible that they probably wouldn't care if he did. Only Christians fully indoctrinated with white propaganda would think violating the law to deport people without due process is a good thing.

Only racist white Christian facists would see this protest as violent!

What bothers me most about the current politics is the right's inability to understand how wrong it is, and the left's blindness to this fact. Make no mistake! Conservative vs liberal politics is not an equivalent comparison of policies or positions. The right is facist, violent, and frankly, too stupid to realize how far removed they are from the truth. On the same day as San Diego's peaceful protest, a good Christian GOP member murdered two Democratic leaders in Minnesota. Somehow, thousands of people can gather in San Diego to protest opposition to the Trump regime, but a sole MAGA lunatic can't handle an opposing view without resorting to violence.

If you haven't already, WAKE UP! There is no middle ground!
