Christians love thinking of themselves as intellectuals despite the fact that most are illiterates obtaining all their knowledge from Fox, news, fellow Christians, and pastors. Those with half a brain love arguing what they consider "philosophy" which just goes to prove they are the most fraudulent of Christians.
A person is beset on all sides by a maelstrom of superficiality, and in an effort to stem the tide, they cling tenaciously to a set of convictions that are more smoke than fire, as they struggle to keep their faith afloat amidst the swirling vortex of misinformation.
